"I had an exceptional experience with Sonny at Botany Bay Florist. From our first phone call to the in-person consultation, Sonny was incredibly accommodating. He made finding the perfect mix of flowers within my budget for my anniversary simple and stress-free. The flowers exceeded my expectations, and Sonny's attention to detail and customer service truly made the entire process delightful. Highly recommend!"
"I have ordered from Botany Bay three times: two custom orders and a walk-in premade pickup. The shop owner and staff are always very helpful and responsive, but in all three experiences, the flower arrangements looked incomplete, prepared in haste, and worst of all, the arrangements began to wilt and die after four days. Properly sourced, good quality flowers should last at minimum 5 days and well maintained at home for 7 days or more before seeing any sort of stress or death. For whatever reason, flowers from this florist (for me) have been consistently low quality and short on life. If you need something in a pinch, you can't beat this shop's location, but if you want something to look great and last, I recommend driving to another location in the city."
"I am pretty disappointed with my experience here to say the least. Customer service was only average (or below), not anything spectacular. I came in to order flowers a week in advance for my college graduation. We were told the red berries we requested were out of season, but "it will definitely be here" if they order it now. So we paid an extra $20 for the service to get those berries still. We even gave a photo reference (which we got from their website) of how we wanted the flower to look like. Something cute, pastel, and fully packed with flowers. A day before our order was scheduled for pick up, we received a phone call saying the berries were unavailable. We were still okay to move forward without the berries and trusted their intuition on the flower arrangement and substitution. When I came to pick up the order, I was really sad how they came out since we really wanted these to be perfect for my graduation ceremony. What they tried to give us was sparse and too vibrant for our taste. Maybe if we wanted those kind of flowers it would be okay, but we didn't. I believe this is an issue of not understanding what the client (me) wants since they gave us the complete opposite. There wasn't much we could do to save the bouquet since they only offered to add/swap roses. I'm glad I was at least able to get 100% refund on the order and the florist was kind enough to be willing to teach me how to wrap them by myself. Unfortunately, I have lost complete trust in ordering flowers from here. These are the pictures of what we asked for (left) and what we almost paid $90 for (right)."
"I had to use a different email to write another review because I am more than SATISFIED again with the wonderful arrangements Sonny and his team provides. (My first post was under Pam Gaines). Well, this time it was Kiandra who did a fantastic job; there's nothing better than knowing no matter who is servicing you from Botany Bay, you will always receive excellent service. Once again, my son David Isaiah had a special arrangement put together for my birthday. I have included pictures from the two arrangements, as well as an updated shot on the growth of the plants he got me in May from Bot Bay. The prayer plan in the back is not dead, the leaves droop or curl up during the day and stand up at night (pic included of leaves standing. Thank you Botany Bay for always making the. most beautiful arrangements. David said he went into the freezer this time :) for his selection. He said he always gets what he paid for and more!"
"This will be a somewhat long, but if you have the patience to read in its entirety, you will see it is also a heart-felt review. My 17 years old son, who happens to be graduating from college in May 2021, has already taken the MCAT (med school admissions test), and is starting law school in Aug 2021, in a dual JD/Master's in Public Health Scholars’ Program. He wanted to show me his love for all the support he felt I had given him over the years with homeschooling, helping with college, law school and grad school applications and touring medical and law schools. All of this was a complete surprise to me. His plan for the day was flowers and gifts. He went to Botany Bay Florist and Sandra helped him. He had his day planned as my daughter found a reason to pull me away for a few hours. He didn't place his order until after 2pm, with a number of requests; he wanted the arrangements to include mine, and my deceased mother's favorite flowers and he wanted the additional plants to include a combination of my favorite house plants. However, the challenge was if the order could be ready in three hours. He said Sandra asked him what he wanted, which he replied that he knew nothing about arranging flowers, but he knew what his mom liked, told her, and trusted her professional judgement; he told her he just wanted his mom to be happy. Again, when he told her what time he needed them, he was expecting to be told it couldn't be done it time. So, he left it to Sandra and went to go get the other surprised goodies that were a part of his plan. Needless to say, Botany Bay met the time frame and when I finally got home and saw the flowers, I was floored. I could tell that she truly cared about pleasing the customer. It was if she made the arrangements for someone she knew personally and loved. The colors were all my favorites and so beautifully arranged. She included the lilies and roses in the perfect arrangement, reminding me of my mom's flower garden. As I said before, my son has always surprised me with flowers to show me how much he loves and appreciates all the little things, and they were always beautiful, but these were different. This arrangement, which was put together especially for me, brought so much joy. It not only showed me the love my son has for me, but it reminded me of my mom’s garden. Anyone who has lost their parents, can certainly understand the joy that little reminder brought me. I knew my mom was watching over my son from the love that went into these flowers. He said he was so happy when he first saw how beautiful they were. But what he said that meant the most is that she listened to his every request and poured them into those arrangements, AND she made sure to have them on time. If you want just a flower arrangement, you can get them from anywhere, but if you want flower arrangements done with love and a sincere desire to meet the customer's need, go to Botany Bay Florist. Their whole team is AWESOME! They try to give customer service that meets and exceeds expectations. It’s where we will be going from now on."
