FLS Caboose 225 1st Street, Folkston, GA 31537

"My husband 64yo and grandson age 12yo stayed at the FLS Caboose for a night in Folkston. They wanted me to tell people that it was a most memorable time in both of their lives. He said they bonded that night. My husband was amazed at our grandson's knowledge and enthusiasm for trains. He said they watched every train that went by. He thinks our grandson might have been an engineer in a past life. They now spend a lot of time talking trains and planning more trips that include trains. (Even coming back to the FLS Catoosa!) The room in the caboose was very nice and clean and comfortable. A 5 star Caboose stay!!!"

"Unique!! It was pretty chilly so we didn't get to sit on the deck to watch the trains, but you could watch through the caboose windows. Very rustic. It is a caboose after all. A must for any train buff. Dinner at the Mexican restaurant was outstanding as well."

"The caboose was a delightful surprise. We weren't sure what kind of property we were reserving and it was for a young man who is a friend of our family. When we got to the caboose, my wife and I were envious we weren't staying there. It's well decorated and clean...and has a nice deck for train watching. Folkston is a train town and this is a real renovated caboose in which to stay and feel like you are traveling in style. We will book it again for ourselves and others."
