"A couple of years ago I contacted David to help me with an audit with the IRS I paid him what he asked for his service. He contacted the IRS on my behalf to conduct the audit. months and a year went by nothing happened. I contacted the IRS myself and they put me on a payment plan. I called Mr Whitten and asked for a refund and he told me I can't get a refund although he didn't do nothing on my case so I lost $1500.00!!! Mr Whitten was very unprofessional and he shouldn't have taken my money if he wasn't going to help me with my issue. He never followed up with me or the IRS I had to call him to find out why he wasn't in contact with them... 7/23/19 It's a shame Mr. Whitten has to lie in order to make him feel good about stealing peoples money a shame is needs to be disbarred no criminal case was ever filed and he did nothing but stoled my money if anyone ever had any issues with Mr Whitten please contact me and I will send you my attorney name who is currently working on my case to get my money back... he is a liar and a theft. PLEASE PROTECT YOURSELF DON"T USE THIS MAN OR HIS BUSINESS HE WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY..."

"I spoke with Mr. Whitten on the phone today, very unprofessional. 2/8/2108 I am disappointed but not surprised to discover a year after my review, the owner coveyed false information in an attempt to discredit my opinion by stating I am the “ex-wife of a business client” and that I “became very upset”. While “very upset” is difficult to quantify, my marital status is public record and the claim I am the “ex-spouse” is a blatant lie. Three years ago I had substantial reservations about the professional services my husband was receiving, today I am terrified."

"We are very disappointed and very unsatisfied with David L Whitten & Co! He sold us during our initial meeting and we trusted that he would take care of us. However David and his office is unorganized and they do not have their act together. Our customer service experience as it applies to this firm is very unsatisfactory and unpleasant, we paid you $600 for this tax year and he refused to actually meet with us after the initial meeting. We expressed many, many times that we wanted a face to face meeting to address our concerns and questions. He refused and stated that he would only meet with us if we paid more money for HIS time. This firm made up numbers different from what we sent them and they didn't include deductions we provided. The work they did does not appear to be correct and it looks like we will have to find another CPA to make it right. STAY AWAY"
