Reviews of United States Postal Service
"Every time I go in there the blond at the front desk. (which is probably 3 times a year) she is rude, hateful and treats people like they are stupid. I am not the only one she treats this way. I have seen a few in tears when they leave. If you hate people or your job that much. It is time for something else!!! I will go to Jacksonville from now on!!!"
"Carrier hit and knocked my mailbox clean off the post then proceeded to tell my wife to just fix it herself. Post office will not make it right. Lady at the counter should not be in that position, rather something more calm and easy going. If I got to the point where I was treating people that bad its time to find something better to do. Feels like I'm an inconvenience to her when im just trying to mail off or pick up a package. Hopefully she's getting ready to retire because I can't help but feel bad for her. Prayers for this postal staff."
"I lived in Piedmont prior to moving to the DMV. When people here ask about my accent, they almost always ask if people in the south are really as kind and hospitable as the reputation upholds. I always tell them about Piedmont USPS because my experience has always been everything that embodies the values of compassionate southern culture. The employees know you by name, take the best care of you they can within their power, and, if you’re real sweet, they’ll send you off with a kiss on the cheek (always consensual.) Granted, if you come in like you just sailed in on the Mayflower, they’ll let you know quick that you’re not the only cow in the pasture. But that’s what I love about them. If you’re respectable, they will give you the same respect in return. If you’re a jacka$$, you may get (verbally) branded. Sweetheart, don’t be so soft. Butter was once milk, but even she toughened up. Be kind. Treat public service workers well, and they will do the same for you."
"Sent a package from California to a friend there in Alabama. They decided to hold the package at the post office which is inconvenient but acceptable. Clerk was painfully incompetent. Even with tracking information He had to threaten to call the police to get the woman to do her job. Even without a tracking number who else with his name would be expecting a California package . The postmaster did handle the situation but unfortunately the clerk doesn't seem to have the mental capacity to flip burgers"
"Most of the clerk's are just fine. Shelia ruins it for the whole post, though. She never wears her mask properly. She is ALWAYS rude and short with customers that she doesn't know or who aren't overly friendly with her. We've watched her bully and talk down to many customers over the years...she has no business working with the public. I'm leaving a review now because things seem to be getting worse. I recently witnessed Shelia checking a customer out, and insinuating to another employee that bad things happen to some people's packages. Obviously the customers in line would assume that she was referring to the package that she was currently processing. We have never had a problem with our delivery...just our encounters with Shelia. She should not work with the public."
