I walked in and before the owner asked me what I wanted he stared at me for about 10 seconds and made a sour face. Please don’t waste your gas because it’s sure as hell worth a lot more than driving here."

"If I could give zero stars, I would. The owner was extremely unprofessional and rude from the minute I walked in. I tried to make lighthearted small talk by asking if they were "remodeling or closing the store" (because there is hardly any space to walk on the floor and it was the elephant in the room). She responded by saying "well we arent closing" while texting on her phone. After around 1 minute, she looked up and asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted to pawn two items (the were also expensive) that were in mint condition. She examined my things and offered me $15 then later retracted the offer when I told her the value and asked why her offer was so low. She told me "from the minute you walked in. You were mad at the world. I'm sure you're having a bad day, but mine is worst- I've had customers that have spit on me and I've had to work 19 hours a day since Covid-19." I was stunned because it was completely random and bizarre, in fact, I was having a great day up until that moment. The real kicker is, she is the owner. I politely thanked her and left. She is not well, and there are too many professional pawn shops with respectful staff members to put up with her attitude and disrespect."

"I love this shop! The owner was so helpful. while I was struggling to figure out what I wanted she already had what I needed and was pricing it for me. Also ladies she has so much name brand makeup for $1.50 it's crazy! I can't wait to go back with my mom."

I have to wonder about those people who leave negative reviews. I suspect their problem isn’t anything to do with Pawn Express, but something is wrong in their personal lives and this is how they vent....."

"When I first stopped at Pawn Express the customer service rep I met was a lovely young lady and pleasant at best. The store hours, however, are not as advertised. When I came by this past Saturday at 4:30 PM, the lights were on but the door was locked, the doorbell was out of service and not a soul could be found. I went back to Pawn Express today at 4:55 PM and they had CLOSED EARLY. A dissapointing experience for me, because I hiked for two hours to get there to seek out a loan to get some food. With respect to the staff, it is hard to conduct a business transaction when no one is around to conduct business with you."
