"This process and fees are NOT properly explained. I shipped a box from Atlanta to Kingston. I paid $260 (or thereabout) to ship this box. I was advised that the Laparkin in Kingston will get all the necessary information and there will be one charge to the receiving end. I also inquired about paying pre-clearance in Atlanta so that my recipient didn’t had to worry about that. I was advised that this service is available and even delivery to door is also available. I decided not to pursue this option even though I asked. I was not given a price nonetheless. Well, the Laparking in Kingston called my recipient and advised them that the clearance cost was $9k plus. When the recipient arrived at their location they hit her with an enormous bill approximately 5 times the 9k, and this was additional to the $260 I paid in Atlanta. This shipping cost at this company will definitely throw you off your feet. We have used other shipping services and they never charged us this kind of monies. The cost for shipping this box in total was approximately $6-700. Makes absolutely no sense!"

"The people at Larpakan Shipping are awesome! From the moment they answered the phone they were instantly helpful. Their Georgia warehouse is based in east Decatur (near Stone Mountain), but they came to me in Smyrna to pick up my shipment no problem (small fee for gas). But I highly recommend there services if you're shipping to the Caribbean, Jamaica, Guyana, or anywhere in South America. Your shipment will be safe and likely to arrive slightly sooner than scheduled. Trust me - they'll get you right!"
