"Got to the end of my filing and realized they don't even offer an electronic copy of the tax return. I wasn't warned about their deficiency when I gave them my paperwork. Also, they forgot my city return and then did it by hand, so the total turnaround time was longer. I now have a non-importable scanned PDF and no way to import it easily to TurboTax (which I now believe is actually superior to hiring someone). They also don't provide protection for mistakes or guaranteed rate for assistance if something happens. I can't imagine how they're in business. EDIT: I can't believe the owner has the nerve to lie about him never having done my tax return! I absolutely did my return in Chattanooga, TN. Claiming that I am confused on states and was never a customer just shows that this CPA must not be trusted."
