"Thought this was the place to get taxes done. Boy was I wrong. I put a wonderful review up and only to realize My taxes were jacked up after 4 months later.when I initially sat down to have taxes done I was told one refund price I was to receive back by a employee named Mark. Waiting on the electronic refund return, didn’t hear anything back so I called the office, then found out that it was a different refund amount that was way higher that was in the system I was entitled to receive. Never, Never will I use Jackson Hewitt Services in life. Plus I had to pay Extreme price for taxes out of pocket."

"I’ll start with the positives very nice to talk to and willing to help until a mistake is made. Glendale /Glenwood office in Decatur, GA did not file all documents provided to them originally causing my taxes to become reviewed by the irs. After addressing the manager Mark he was kind and polite and corrected it as I thought. 6 wks almost past and finally got through the irs to find out the form was incomplete. I finally got help from the irs and did it myself and had to fax for another 6-8 wks I got to wait. At this point I believe I trusted and paid for a service that should of been rendered. Yes everyone makes mistakes but twice? Yet the lady at the irs said if they would of submitted the documents at first I would of already had received my refund. The store manager offered me 100 gift card, free amendment if needed, $250 off next year tax prep. Clearly I told Erwin in prior convo I would never do business with Jackson Hewitt so why in your offer you trying to give me services. 100 gift card and I paid around $700 or so for my taxes is unacceptable. Then he told me I need to to talk to corporate who does nothing but transfer you back to them that took your money and provided you a service that was incomplete from jump. Since they don’t to take full responsibility, I decided it’s best to warn those seeking to work with them. I will never discourage others not to do business with Jackson Hewitt, however I will say make sure you see with your own two eyes everything in their possession is accurate and accounted for. Do not let them send you out with just the disclaimer make them print out all your forms including copies of what was given. Be mindful because they will just take your money as if Jackson Hewitt did it right from jump. Mind you I was with H&R Block for 19 years, yes they are expensive never had an issue like this."
