"Called yesterday to ask about Kerosene price. The clerk seemed unsure on how to find that information but finally told me 3.01$ per gal which seemed wrong but I told her thank you and that I'd be by the next day (Nov 12) to fill up my jugs. Stopped by here today and the K1 is displaying over 7$ per gallon. Considering I got Kerosene at a nearby location last week for 4.89$ per gallon I definitely didn't even bothering to get out of my car here. FYI According to the website "Global Petrol Prices" for this week (Nov 12) "The average price of kerosene around the world is 4.32 U.S. Dollar per us gallon" So I don't understand why this Shell station in Kimball Tennessee has raised the price to nearly 8$ per gallon. Seems a bit excessive. *Edit to add a response to Shell* Thank you for responding I really hope something is done about the price gouging. I assume the 3.01$ I was given was your price and I understand yall need to make a profit too but at what expense? There's lots of family's in our community who rely on kerosene to keep warm this winter. Charging double the national average is shameful and will cause unnecessary hardship on our community."
