"This store scans your license for beer purchases. The attendant said they do this to verify with the state police your license is valid and therefore you are old enough to buy beer. I'm 60. Since clerks should be able to tell the difference between a 60 year old and an 18 or 21 year old, then the real reason for downloading this info is likely more nefariousness. I suspect the police want to get people used to giving up detailed purchase records without a warrant by claiming its for the public good. They do this in many states so this is a national police push. I believe that when they have all of our purchase info in their systems(without any warrants or constitutional amendments authorizing such actions), then they will have precedence to start using this info to started prosecuting the citizens. The stores will also likely use the detailed purchase information to track and sell marketing info of unwitting customers. For these reasons, I never purchase from a store chain more than once that scans my photo ID for purchases. I recommend that anyone else with these concerns stop purchasing from stores like mapco mart too."

"I purchase gas there all the time using my rewards ,usually attendant's are very friendly. We stopped in last night spent around $60 on gas & purchases (my husband granddaughter & I) on our way to a superbowl gathering . We were going to check out my granddaughter wanted to add a snack on our bill . My husband went up to pay we came up just as he was finishing the transaction he said just put the card back in & pay for that seperate . The credit card started beeping to remove card . I removed the card & had my granddaughters snack on the counter ,my husband went out to pump our gas . The attendant RUDLEY said I hope you know you just jumped in front of 2 other people I said we weren't dont with our purchase she said you need to tell them that .I turned around & looked who was behind me ,no one had a problem but her . She tried to humiliate me with my granddaughter who is only 8 . I ask her her name she said Cassey why do you want to know ? I said thank you & walked away . This is not the first time i have been treated bad by this girl . The first experience i encountered with her was a couple of months ago I once again was using my rewards 17 cents off the gallon , I pre purchased my gas went out to fill up . While I was filling my tank i washed my windows ,the pump clicked so i put the squeegee down & went to finish filling up . The pump was turned off I went in & told her I was not done filling my tank it clicked off while I was doing my window . Her response was look sweetie I tell everyone you need to stay with the pump . I told her i had 17 cents off the gallon that I didn't hang the pump up I just want to finish pumping my gas .She said I can turn it back on sweetie but your reward will be the 3 cent off the gallon ,I can't give you your 17 cents back.. She was very RUDE then I'm 60 yr old ,to me someone her age calling me sweetie is very offensive . I usually dont have to encounter this person there is usually a different attendant there when I stop ,which is my gas getting store . I called customer service today still waiting on a call back"
