"So, I let the tool clerk know what tool I needed to rent and she proceeded to challenge me for 20 mins, suggesting I don't know what I'm doing and that I'm too incompetent to use their tools without breaking something or hurting myself. Clerk was some lady from Canada, covered in tattoos who couldn't stop qualifying her extensive experience flipping houses. Finally, I got tired of listening to her so I just went over to the show floor and BOUGHT the item I needed. 2 hours later, my project was finished perfectly. You should avoid this place unless you like being insulted by people with self esteem issues. Pathetic.."

"Of the three times that I've rented tools at the tool center, 2 of 3 have been broken or malfunctioning. Today, when I explained that the equipment doesn't work according to Home Depot's directions for use with on the website, the manger told me he had to charge me anyway since I took it. Letter of the law, baby! The most awkward part was the paranoid, no eye contact/unclear communication when I respectfully told them the tool doesn't work properly. On principle, I'll dispute the charge on my credit card and warn other folks like me who do a lot of construction to avoid the tool rental here."

"Manager is a complete dick. I spend thousands of dollars a month at Home Depot. I bought two fans from there and they would not work with what I was doing on one of my rental properties. I did lose my receipt but the fans was never been open I said I did not want any money I just want to trade it for the fans that would work the associate was going to do so. And everything would have been fine but then the manager comes up and calls me a liar that Home Depot doesn't carry that brand when I point it out 50 feet away the same fan was hung up on display. he told me is he wasn't allowing it. So to prove a point I bought the two fans I needed but I made it clear that I would never shop at Home Depot again. So if you are reading this upper management you lost a whole Construction Company and half of Chattanooga rental properties because your manager is a complete dick. Everyone take your business to Lowes their prices are better anyway."
