By 2016, carpet was bubbling in multiple rooms despite the foot traffic, and hardwood was popping under foot, in several different places unrelated to each other. I reached out to FDG for a repair quote since they were the original installers. Out of four quotes total, their quote was the most expensive by hundreds of dollars. They were also clear they'd offer no guarantee on the work quoted. If I were to buy a new home, my first question to the builder representatives would be to ask if FDG was the flooring subcontractor. If so, I'd pass on the homes all together. The level of wear after five years to now is unreasonable."
