"Their warranty is a joke. They will not replace it because they said it is not a manufacturing defect. It is a manufacturing defect because of poor quality made on the housing cap on starter broke off. The flywheel is straight, and nothing causes the starter to break like that. It goes on Ford 2000 tractor. I swap the starter from my other tractor to this tractor, it starts fine and flywheel straight, and nothing interferes with the starter. Now the cap is left inside the transmission between the engine, I will have to split it and get it out. They want me to buy another one at a total price, eh no thanks. I get it somewhere else that promises their warranty on the product."

"Place is bad don't buy here and at Discount Starter & Alternator. Customer service is a bunch of liars and hung up on me like 3 times. Ordered a starter for my snowblower which was in stock 4 days later still waiting for it. From GA to NJ is 2 days tops."

"The first customer service employee who helped me yelled out cursings each time he walked into another room. I don't think he knew I could hear him. I very much felt like I was a bother rather than a customer. The second representative who helped me was much nicer, but he proceeded to make fun of someone who called the store earlier asking whether they buy back batteries (like Franklin Battery used to do). The caller was me. Ultimately, the poor customer service is why I chose not to purchase my battery from them. I miss Franklin Battery. Also, it is quite dangerous right now when leaving the business because of the steep incline turning onto the busy highway in a construction zone."

"mine was not working right and i dont even want to go into detail on the ordeal that ensued trying to get the replacement alternator. i guess there inexpensive for a reason. u get what u pay for. ps. ther doing business as discount starter and alternator. unfortunate customer service satisfaction."
