"BUYER BEWARE!! THIS COMPANY DOES NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT!!! I purchased their carpet from a dealer in my area. I loved it. I was so happy until about a year later when a big and a small area looked dirty. I cleaned it. Nothing. I had it professionally cleaned. Nothing. So I had the man from the company where I bought it come take a look. He said that he had sold hundreds of rolls of their carpet and had never seen anything like this. He said he thought it was defective. He sent a claim to Lonesome Oak. They sent an "independent" guy out to determine what the problem was. He spent a long time here trying to find out what the problem was. Finally, he said he would have to just report it as "undetermined". My bare toes were getting cold so I slipped my feet into my slippers. He zeroed in on those and decided that my slippers were the problem. (He did not mention slippers in his report, he used their jargon because he knew he would look like a fool if he had tried to blame it on a pair of slippers!!) This company denied my claim. I spent almost $5,000.00 on that carpet. Money I only had because I sold my house. I am an older lady, living alone. I don't wear shoes in the house and I don't wear slippers outside--or even walking around the house as they are sloppy and I am unstable in them. I told the customer service lady I was going to put in a bad review and she was very offended and said it would hurt their company--oh, dang! They have hurt me to the tune of nearly $5,000.00!! Big company--little old lady--I sure don't feel sorry for them and I am sad to have to do a bad review of any company, but if they sell an inferior product or a defective product and don't make it right what other recourse do I have?? Big fat 0 rating for this company from me!!"
