"We are happy we have a local hardware store. We purchased an item that was too small. When we opened the package the plastic came off the cardboard. It wasn’t ripped off. We went with in an hour to exchange the product for the larger size and they wouldn’t take it back (exchange) we had to purchase again. The employee just kept repeating- saying if you opened it with a smaller opening he would of taken it back Opened is opened at that point. I’ve shopped at other Ace hardwares as well as Home Depot in Lowe’s and have never had an issue with returning a product. Yes it’s convenient but is it worth? Debatable!"
