"I had to wait 5 minutes while the only clerk put batteries in a flashlight for another customer. The customer asked the clerk if he wanted to check me out. The clerk said no and kept inserting the batteries for the customer. Finally the same person who helped me get the things I needed came back to the counter and told me that if I had credit or debit he could finally check me out. I had planned to get some lawn bags but it was too heavy to hold and I saw no carts or baskets so I completed my $4 transaction and vow not to return."
"I am always surprised by the things that ace hardware carries in west in. Usually they have what I need, particularly in regards hardware. You will pay a slight premium however, it’s worth it, not only because the service is excellent, but because we need to support our local businesses."
