"Diana and team have been instrumental in guiding me through setting up my new business / LLC, all while guiding me through proper business strategies along the way. I have zero desire to be a financial expert and / or IRS mind reader......Diana and her team take all that guess work off my plate and devise simple, concise plans to guide me through it all.......all while making sure I'm maximizing benefits offered to me along the way. I cannot say enough for the team or quality of work I receive from them."
"AVOID THIS ACCOUNTANT AT ALL COSTS. It has been over a year since she supposedly filed a return, but never did. She NEVER answered our phone calls and their assistants never had any information. After consulting with the IRS, I realized that she NEVER filed the so called return, and we were really counting on those funds. I urge you. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE."
"Terrible communication. Almost impossible to get in touch with Diana. I received a letter from the IRS stating that my taxes were filed incorrectly several months after having Diana file them. I had to pay someone else to redo my taxes because she filed my business as an s-corp when really my business is a sole-proprietorship. When I asked her why she filed it as an s-corp when I had never filled out any paperwork or requested such, she simply stated that “there’s a box you can check.” There’s a box you can check that says married too but if you’re not married, don’t check that box. Edited to add: as you can see by Diana’s defensive, nonsensical and unprofessional response, this is how she reacted any time the mistakes she made were questioned. It was a mistake on her end selecting s-corp on my tax filings when I was not an s-corp, regardless of whether she THOUGHT that would be the best way to avoid paying more taxes. I could mark a lot of boxes to save money but that doesn’t make it true. No, we haven’t interacted in over a year but the IRS sent me a letter that she had filed them incorrectly over a year later. “Tax planning and advising is the core of our practice” yet she was IMPOSSIBLE to get in touch with for any ‘advice.’ In fact, she sent me the completed tax form to sign without ever speaking to me. When I saw errors (completely made up numbers for my write-offs like utilities/phone bill/etc.), I called over 15x and wasn’t able to speak with her. I was then advised to schedule a phone call online (which she charges for) to which she did not answer at the scheduled time. I called the office multiple times only to reach a busy signal. 30 minutes AFTER our scheduled call, someone in the office answered and told me she had taken another call and that was the last one of the day. I demanded I receive a phone call that day as tax day was nearing and I had already scheduled said call. Diana finally called me, nearly an hour after our scheduled call and reacted just like she did to this review. Defensive, rude and unable to take accountability. Completely unprofessional business practice."
"Unfortunately, we cannot recommend Diana and her accounting firm due to their lack of communication and recent failure to file a tax form timely which resulted in a charge from the IRS of $840. Both my husband and I went to her office in person several times, called and emailed about a business form that needed to be filed and the standard response (when coming in-person) was that Diana was either in a meeting or on the phone but would get back to us about the filing. On one of the last visits I made to the office, I asked the front desk receptionist what was going on with the filing because I didn't want to pay any type of penalty for not filing it on time, since I had not received or heard anything from them. Her response was that Diana “probably asked for an extension.” Probably is not good enough when you’re dealing with the IRS and someone else’s businesses and money. That same day I finally got an email from someone at her office that said the form was ready to be filed and we just needed to sign it. There were errors on the form and misspellings. Now a month later we have received a $840 bill from the IRS for failure to file on time. Obviously the extension was not requested…Additionally, when she had given us our personal taxes (which hopefully were filed on time) there was someone else’s personal information attached to the back of our forms. Needless to say, look elsewhere for a CPA."
"A friend recommended Diana when I needed a CPA to file our Homeowner's Association taxes in the mid-2000's. She was wonderful so I decided to have her file our personal taxes after being a devout Turbo Tax user for many years. She found more deductions than Turbo Tax! I wish I had switched sooner - I don't miss Turbo Tax a bit. Now my wife & I have a total of 3 businesses and Diana files them as well. I sent others to Diana and they are pleased with her as well. If you meet face-to-face with her she will not make you feel rushed. Her advice is rock solid. Take a note pad and pen with you because she gives a lot of useful information. Diana has a big heart ...she helped someone I know who lives in poverty and had not filed income taxes in over 30 years. He had a mediocre job and the person he worked for did not withhold taxes. Diana filed 7 years of fed and state taxes for him and counseled him along the way for an amazing LOW price. It was so low I won't say because I don't think she would give just anyone a deal that good - unless maybe if they were as poor and ignorant in finances as this gentleman. It was obvious she did a charitable deed for this man paying it forward. He owed more than he could pay and Diana recommended filing for an IRS Offer of Compromise. She made it sound so easy. She made it easy! She got him a deal where he paid the IRS peanuts. He made ridiculously low payments for a short period of time and now owes the IRS nothing. She has no idea what a difference she made in this man's life - he is a good worker and now has a great job and been promoted several times. Now he files every year. Before he met Diana, he was trying to find another mediocre job that didn't take taxes because he believed he would have to go to prison."
