"I went in for a part to replace the broken bag clip and a new set of vacuum bags, and left with the worst high-pressure sales pitch experience of my life. There was an older bald man and a younger man who didn’t say much, but at least smiled at me when I looked at him because I was SHOCKED at how insistent the bald man was that I needed a new vacuum. All I needed was an inexpensive replacement part and new bags. No matter how many times I told him I wasn’t interested in a new vacuum, he KEPT PRESSURING me. I don’t know if he was trying to reach a sales quota or something, but I will never go back there. I like to support small businesses, which is why I went in the first place, but this man needs to learn that a firm no means NO, and that he was kind of scaring me a bit with the high-pressure sales tactics. Oh, and the clog he found and tried to sell me a cleaning for? It was one leaf. I removed it with a pair of pliers when I got home. I don’t want to be contacted to talk about this experience. I just wanted the owners (and other women out there) to know that this man doesn’t know the meaning of the word NO. Only go in there if you plan to buy a new vacuum. Go elsewhere if you need service or parts."
"Did a GREAT job changing the cord on my vacuum! It was done in a timely manner and everyone was polite and helpful. Glad I bought there."
"Just went in to get my vacuum cleaner serviced and was surprised to find out they have a power moping system and air filters! There is a package discount if you purchase multiple items. They will also give you credit for your trade in too. You can try all the products as they have oatmeal and other dirt products like charcoal on tile... they will let you see how everything actually works. Eric and Jesus are super nice as they demonstrate how to use the products and even how to change the bags, mop heads and filters. They have 0% financing too. Eric is sooo knowledgeable about everything!!! He explained the advantages of the direct vacuums and their warranties also. Jesus speaks Spanish too. Such a refreshing change from other stores with no knowledgeable sales people at all. Eric was able to answer all my questions. It was Jesus's first day and they make a great team. It was the most fun I have ever had shopping for cleaning equipment! They even carried everything out and loaded it into my SUV! Customer Service is the best here...shop local and support your community!"
"“Eric” was incredibly rude and condescending from the first call. I was looking for a part that had been accidentally turned in and when I arrived in person he cut me off with, “ Look, O told you…”. My phone was recording the the part was found in the back. I also witnessed racist behavior from him with a couple that was simply asking about a product. We have been using this location for 30 years and have ceased since our encounter with Eric. Corporate was contact via multiple means with no response."
"Went a fee weeks back because my older model Oreck smelled like burnt rubber when vacuuming. There was a new gentleman in the store (I did not catch his name, but he works on Mondays) who took care of me and showed me the problem. He explained to me in detail what was happening and showed me how to clean it myself next time. I left their with a better understanding of my vacuum, and no expensive bill. This is a much different experience than what I've had there in the past. I will definitely be back!"
