"I bought an 8750 generator less than one year ago, but I paid for a 2-year extended warranty. get back because the overload light continue to come on with nothing plugged up. now... this is where the problem starts. I can see draining the gas but there was probably four or five tablespoons of fuel left in the bottom of the tank that even the drain line on the bottom of the tank would not get out. after loading this thing up and taking off my extra wheels that I purchased I told the manager 20 minutes until closing time at 8:00 that I was there to pick up a replacement. The guy went outside with a hoist and came back and told me they can't take it back because it had minimally drops of fuel still left in the tank. okay they couldn't have left the top off and let it evaporate overnight. I had to bring it back home. but before I left the manager started writing down a phone number to harbor freight in which I had to call and weighed through all the choices which none of them were generators just to try to get an RA number so that I could give it to them so they wouldn't have to do the work. Needless to say The warranty center closes at 6:00 but harbor freight closes at 8:00. now you tell me how in the world I was ever going to get an exchange at 7:40 pm without a RA number that no one during the day advise me that I would have to have, much less have to call it myself. they have all the information including the serial number of the unit. so why in the hell would the customer have to call?. I paid nearly $300 for a 2-year warranty. Let them do the work never again"
