"I always have a good experience and good service here. They do a really good job with my pesky ingrown toenail!"
"The men there rush the service, did a terrible job at shaping and painting. Didn’t plan to file or refill my acrylic toe even though it looked old. Had to ask for simple stuff like cutting down and filing for their pedicure. This is what my nails look like after they got done."
"Let me tell you about this sad excuse of a nail salon: I usually go to one of two very popular and high quality OTHER nail salons in the area. If you’re familiar with the area, I think we all know which 2 they are. Pretty Nails does not fall into either of those categories, but it was close and convenient. The other 2 salons were jam packed with clients, long waits, they do good work but I did not have time to wait. I walked into Pretty Nails, so quiet you could hear a pin drop in there. They only had one customer and no wait. That should have been a big red flag for me. I had a single broken acrylic nail on my thumb. Mind you my whole set was a plain, nude acrylic, square, mid-length set, with no design. Simple for anyone with skills. I don’t even think I got a greeting. I asked the lady (presumably owner/manager) at the front of the store if I could get a repair. Her first words were that I “need to go back to wherever did your nails” saying she could not do it because “I can’t do the same and we don’t have nude color.” How does that make sense????? So with that logic, someone who got a plain, solid color set of nails while on vacation in Miami for example, should drive back to Miami from Atlanta to get ONE nail repaired? I could understand better if I came in with an intricate one-of-a-kind design that couldn’t be duplicated. But that was not the case. But I should have just listened. Because instead, I urged her to please try to find a nude color in the salon to do this ONE thumb nail. She hesitated then agreed to do it. IMMEDIATELY her acrylic application on the nail tip was terrible. I am not even a licensed nail tech but I’ve been getting my nails done long enough to know she has ZERO SKILLS. She started applying my acrylic so thick and so curved downward. The application was so terrible that when it was time to shape the nail into a square, she couldn’t make it square because A) she has no skills and, B) the acrylic was applied permanently curved and too thick anyway, it was impossible to make it a square. So I politely pointed out that it was not a square shape and she immediately raises her voice and yells “that’s why I said go back where you got them done because you not my customer!” Then she kept trying to make it a straight square with the file, for so long until I just asked her to stop and look at the quality of the nail she just put on, and I told her it was terrible, as I have the right to do, because I am a client receiving a service I am paying for. I asked her to please remove the nail, I will just go elsewhere. She violently grabbed my hand and cut the nail off with clippers, only cutting off the tip and leaving acrylic on my nail bed. I asked “can you please soak off the rest?” She said “no you go somewhere else they do for you, you not my customer!” Despite her being extremely rude and unprofessional, I kindly suggested that she should not yell at customers and that she may benefit from developing some nails artistry skills. I now understand why there were no customers in this salon, so I went to the salon around the corner, (which still was not the original salon who did the set, but they did not try to turn me away for that reason) I waited 30 minutes but at least I got my nail repaired properly. Do not go to Pretty Nails you will be disappointed."
"The absolute worst paint job and service ever. Pictures below. The guy who works there did a terrible job on my nails. I wanted very simple French tips but instead received the work of a toddler. He damaged my skin and painted outside my nails like a coloring book. I went back a day later to have them fix it. After a few minutes of arguing with me, the manager finally decided to “fix” it, but she still didn’t complete the very simple design that I requested. Instead, she refunded me $5 for not including a French tip. This was my first and LAST time here."
"Kathy is 100% the most gentle and best at getting my ingrown toenails out! I am so grateful I found her!"
