"Extremely clean bathrooms and bath houses, the roads, campsites, and all recreational areas are also very clean! The hosts are friendly and there are pet friendly areas all around, I love this place!!! The picnic areas have wood grills for cooking as well as campsites have fire rings with grill covers. If your going through or even living in georgia I strongly recommend everyone stay here at least once in their lives!"
"I didn't do much while I was there. Our family just rented one of the buildings to have our Thanksgiving dinner there. However, there are camping trails and cabins that you can reserve for under $50 for up to a couple of weeks. I was told the fishing out there in excellent in the spring. ."
"Came off the interstate (7mi) for a trail run, and this park did not disappoint. Approx 5 mi of trails, fairly well maintained, even had a swimming area to cool off after my run. Park facilities that I saw and used could use a little tlc, but overall, would recommend."
"Nice level sites with full hookups. Beautiful park with lots of hiking trails, fishing, mini golf, nice playground. Modern clean bathrooms and showers. Lots of wildlife, even saw an owl on a tree."
"Beautifully maintained park. Enjoyed the trails and sunsets. We got to see some wild life like deer, turtles, and squirrels throughout the day. Kids enjoyed taking pictures of nature and sunsets. Went bike riding and hiking. Having a paper map was helpful. It is a good place to come for a picnic or barbecue since there grills through out the park. Next time we will bring a putter for the mini golf that is inside park."
