"I have to say that Railroad Shoe Repair does excellent work on your shoes or boots. I unfortunately hadn’t heard of this shoe repair since I live in LaGrange and I needed a zipper put on the back of my boot so I could be able to get the boot on my artificial leg.I took it to Harrells Cleaner and Shoe repair and boy what a terrible job they did for $80.00. So I took that boot to Railroad Shoe Repair in Opelika to be redone correctly. Wow what a great and awesome professional job they did. Beautiful work and I will definitely say if you want quality shoe or boot repair you sure need to take it to Railroad Shoe Repair. For not only a very fine quality repair but this zipper was put on perfect and I was only charged $35.00. No doubt I will recommend this shoe repair shop to every person I know. "I cannot recommend him enough! I brought in my ariat tall boots to widen the calf. I asked about stretching the leather, he was very honest and said that stretching wouldn’t work. He said that I could put a leather strip behind the zipper. He asked me to take some time to think about it, Which I did. I came back a couple hours later and asked him to do it. It did take him a while to get the boots ready, you can tell when you walk in that he’s very busy. I waited about 3-4 weeks for the boots. But boy was it work the wait, he did a fantastic job! The boot fits my calf perfectly, curve and all. And it’s look amazing, it doesn’t look like he just stuck a random piece of black leather on the boot. It looks like the boot was manufactured like that. All of this to say, Take your shoes here!"
