"This isn’t your typical retail shoe store. It’s not only minimalist, the service is minimal as well. I don’t ever feel comfortable stepping in any of the Rothy’s retail store as they just stare at you. Not sure what the objective is, but it sure feels cold not cozy."

"I stopped by the Westside Provisions for donuts but as a Rothy lover decided to pop into the store. Immediately upon entering I was complimented on the current Rothy’s I was wearing, and Q and Alvin were so kind and attentive as I looked around. Found another perfect pair in an excellent color (red malbec) and was so excited about them i decided to wear them out the store! Great experience and will totally be coming back"

"They were rude to my husband when he bought me a gift card, were rude to me when I went in to spend the gift card and ask about shoe care, and closed early when I tried to go make a return. Your better off ordering online."

"My friend and I received excellent guest service by Erika and Kristin. Erika assisted me with an exchange of shoes I bought online. She made the process seamless and was very helpful in making sure she ordered the right size and colors I preferred to shipped to my home. Kristin graciously helped my friend with a return without any issues. Also, it was Mother’s Day and they greeted us with a single rose. It was very sweet. "This place was SLAMMED when I went in there. A couple of the customers were rude. The staff were all cool and handled it. Kristin was awesome and even convinced me I needed purple shoes. We’ll see if they stay in the lineup, but I’ll keep an open mind. On Rothy’s: I love them. I have 5 or 6 pairs already. They are comfortable and easy to clean. I do get a different liner and add it to theirs because I think the shoes are a little hard. But that’s all. I love them like a fat kid loves cake."
