"I recently had an incredible experience with the incredible tattoo artist Tristen at TAO Tattooing in downtown Atlanta. I wanted a Phoenix tattoo on my upper arm, and Tristen modified the image to tie it in with my existing tattoos. He was meticulous with the details, colors, and size, and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied with the result. His customer service was exceptional, and he was friendly and professional throughout the entire process. The final tattoo is even better than I could have ever imagined, a testament to Tristen's exceptional skill and talent. "My best friend and I came in on April 29th to get matching tattoos. We were both coming in from separate states to attend a concert in Atlanta. Because we were from out of town, Tristan (the tattoo artist) and I coordinated everything via Instagram. I sent him the design that I made and he felt confident that he could do it, so we booked. When we got to the tattoo shop, we talked about size of the tattoo and the size of the lines. After getting the tattoo, we later realized that he did not shave our tattoo area prior to tattooing, he did not check our IDs, and we did not sign any consent waiver. There was a lot going on regarding determining placement, etc., so we didn’t realize any of this in the moment. As our tattoos have started healing, there is hardly any ink remaining. We both have several other tattoos, so we understand how to properly take care of them. This has never happened with any of our tattoos previously. It is extremely frustrating, we will both have to go to local tattoo shops to redo/go over the tattoo. Tristan was pleasant to communicate with while we were coordinating on Instagram about the tattoo, and in person. I have messaged him about our disappointment and frustration with how our tattoos have healed, and that essentially no ink remains. He has yet to reply to my message. The line work itself looks great, but the tattoo is essentially not visible which defeats the purpose of a blank ink tattoo. Update: He read my message three days ago and never responded. The tattoo is healed and in addition to the lack of pigment across most of the tattoo, the ink is inconsistent. A couple of spots are significantly darker than the rest of the tattoo."
