"I called to make sure they could treat bearded dragons. I was told yes, they have seen beardie before and the vet was familiar with them.. I took my 4 yo beardie, that I hand raised since she was 2 months old here because her regular vet was on vacation. She was refusing to eat. The vet came in, didn't touch her or check her over. I asked him if he needed to hold her he said no. He had a pair of scissors that he used to pry her mouth open, he talked for a minute asked me if I could do shots, I said yes, and put her on baytril for 5 days. I got home gave her her first shot. I found her dead the next morning. A few hours later I found out she was egg bound and needed emergency surgery. Final thought.: if you love your beardie don't go here. I was desperate and was going by their assurance that they knew what they were doing I now have a backup beardie vet in case of vacation..."
