"Terrible service. Charged way to much. I think she braids my hair so tight purposely & it cause extreme tight bumps. I only had the braids in for 5 days had to take 6 straight backs out. What a waste of money. I'm so mad!! Never again!"

"I’d leave 1 star if I could. We agreed on 10am this morning and the owner kept calling me every 10-20 mins saying she was 10 mins away while I was parked outside at 10am. Told me if I waited for her to come @11 then she’d give me a discount. Towards the end of the service, she demanded the full payment and refused to continue braiding my hair unless I sent it while still in the seat:.. she was screaming on the phone for the entire 4 hours I was in the shop… meanwhile braiders are eating not washing hands and returning to braiding… will never be back"

"I have never in my life been treated so poorly. Please give your service and hard earned money to a kinder establishment. I came in Wednesday before Thanksgiving informing these ladies I had a flight in a few hours and wanted two simple cornrows. They told me my hair is too short and that I’d have to get 6 separate braids - that was fine. I had a hour wait time which was also fine. Upon finishing my hair the elder lady told me she was done, I asked her how much and she said 75. She did not provide a mirror for me to look at my hair and I take accountability, I should have never left that building without taking a good look at these braids. I passed my card to her and she said no she only takes Zelle and cash. I just wish I would have known this as I waited for an hour and would have been prepared. I am a college student expecting to pay with my credit card so it took about 5 minutes for me to set up a Zelle account. The elder lady who braided me told me to hurry up and that she needed to leave - extremely rude I honestly couldn’t believe it myself. When I say it took no longer than 5 minutes for me to set up this account (which could have been taken care of if communicated beforehand) next thing you know, she left! So, not only did I inform them that I also had a flight and things to do - just like my braider did - there was zero curtesy for the care of my braids, my time, and my experience. The braids are uneven to my head, completely slanted. I flew out of Atlanta and my family had a whole lot to say about these braids. It’s simply not good. Anyway, now it is the following Monday. I just landed back in Atlanta and headed straight here to see if they could do any accommodations. Luckily, the elder lady was in the building. I came in with kind intentions and hopeful for a solution. I asked if there is anything she could do to accommodate these braids because they are simply not good, in which she told me she sees nothing wrong she will not refund or redo these braids. She begins speaking with two other ladies in their native language and has someone else speak for her and inform me that I can come in at a later time for a discounted price… All of this to say, there are several negative reviews here. Please, I hate to write negative reviews, this is actually my first and I’m beyond upset having to do this - if you are considering coming here please don’t. The lack of communication and lack of accommodation is not worth the significantly high chance of poor service."

"Would give ZERO stars if I could. Horrible service and they do NOT pay attention to what they are doing my straight back braids are SLANTED, NOT EVEN ON EACH SIDE, and Not parted correctly. I politely asked for it to be re-done or get a refund and they were extremely rude. Don’t waste your time with this place the OTHER recent reviews speak for themselves. I’m also reporting to health and safety because it was very dirty and stinky not sanitary!"

"I've visited this location twice and really like it here. All of the employees work together on customers heads, to save time and make sure that you get the style that you want. The prices are very reasonable. I do suggest getting there when they first open if you want to get in and out. Update: I definitely will not be back here! I spoke with Fatima yesterday, who told me to arrive between 930-10:00am today, considering their Website says that they open at 930am. I only wanted 2 braids to the back! Me being punctual as I am, I show up around 921am. I tried going to the door at 9:33, and it was locked. After so long, I spoke with Fatima who advised me that her daughter was inside of the shop with the door locked. Why was that when they are scheduled to open at 930? So, after finally being let in at 945am, I waited for close to 30 minutes to get two braids! The first employee looked lazy, walked around slow, and had no get up and go about herself. On top of that, the rest of the employees came dragging in with their breakfast, which they ate while another customer waited to get her hair done. The worse part is that they weren't even woman enough to say anything directly, but communicated with each other in their own language. When I told the daughter that I was giving them a bad review, her reply was "Whatever". It definitely is whatever because I want be back. I work too hard for my money to be spent on individuals who cares nothing about their jobs or customers. I hate this experience, because I've dealt with them in the past. The only reason why I gave two stars, because the lady did my braids good. But, I had the worst experience just from getting two braids! I know that they will respond to this review, but it's my fault for not looking at the past reviews from 2 months ago. This place has gotten really bad!"
