"DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY !! AVOID THIS SCAMMER I went to Zakiya for hair loss treatment and I left with less hair than I came with ! Zakiya takes advantage of vulnerable women suffering from hair loss and searching for answers to defraud them of their hard earned money while pretending to be a Godly woman. I paid Zakiya for a 6 month treatment plan (24 sessions) and we agreed to schedule our sessions around our schedules as I travel for work and she had spring break, drs appointments and other commitments. Between March and June 2023 we had only 8 sessions (of 16) although I'd paid $1,1116 (including $150 for hair products)of the total $1,550. That roughly comes out to a balance of $466 in unused sessions Through March and June, Zakiya continuously lied that she was seeing progress and growth from the treatment she was conducting (the alopecia is in the middle of my scalp so I cant see it myself). I tried to have faith and go along with it until I could no longer pretend and asked her to take pictures, that's when the truth came out. She'd further damaged my hair and the area was way worse than when i first st arted. I had to go back to my dermatologist and start treatment to heal the damage she'd caused. I reached out and asked her to refund my unused sessions as my dermatologist asked me to stop whatever she was doing. Even though I paid for 16 sessions of treatment ($1116) and only used 8 , Zakiya refused to provide a refund after further damaging my hair. She said she can only allow me use the rest of the $466 worth of services at her salon. Why would I continue to go back to a dishonest, money hungry scam artist to further damage my hair ??
