"My boyfriend and I drove to Chattanooga for the weekend to celebrate our anniversary - our first stop was at the Mountain Escape Spa for couples massages. Let me just say, the experience was a 10/10! I should also preface this by saying we were driving to Chattanooga from our home in Nashville, and this was our first time making the trip so we had no idea that Chatt is in a different time zone than Nashville is. We're well on our way thinking that we're going to arrive 30-45 minutes early, only to find out when the spa gave us a call that we were actually late to our appointment. We were completely flustered and apologetic and the spa owner was incredibly gracious about our mistake. We arrived 30 minutes into our appointment time, with 60 minutes still to spare, and they relaxed us and told us that they would still take us. The lesson here is that 1. if you are driving from Nashville, make sure you take the time change into account! and 2. the staff at Mountain Escape Spa is sweet, professional and very accommodating. Once we were all settled, both of us had phenomenal massages and left feeling incredible. They even gave us great recommendations for hikes with views since the surrounding area is so gorgeous. We'll likely make this an annual tradition (without the being late part)."
