"I got the worst haircut at this place. I arrived to my appointment early only to wait 30 minutes past my appointment time. Nothing about my cut was good. It wasn't blended in, and they didn't even line up my neck or ears. It honestly felt like a prank of some sort. I legitimately looked like a clown.... The hair stylist was also texting most of the appointment."

"Got the Express Shave for my dad as a Christmas present. We are so disappointed because we had high expectations for a $50 facial shave that *supposedly* included nice pampering. She didn’t use pre-shave oil. She used a towel on his face for 20 seconds. She never massaged his face. If you aren’t gonna do everything you say you will, you are a scam. The one thing they did was shave his face and even that was sub par. It was not a clean shave at all. She left patches at his sideburns, chin, and neck. DO NOT waste your time or money. Roosters can do it WAY better for a lot cheaper!"

"I've been there twice. Both visits I had different barbers and I got distinctly different results. I'm not happy with this one. The first time went well. The gentleman heard what I wanted and did what he said he would do. The second time I went I gave the same instructions and got a completely different result. I expressed that I had been working on growing it out and was happy with the length and shape of my beard. I just wanted weight taking out of it. While I don't look bad, months of growing my beard down the drain. The shape is gone. The beard is shorter. And again it doesn't look bad but it is not what I asked for. I'm feeling stuck between never going back to this location or just being very selective as to which barber I allow to shape my beard."

"I am visiting Atlanta for a few weeks and needed a haircut. The reviews of this place were good and it is close to where I am staying in North Decatur so I decided to give it a try. Before I get into the negatives, I must say I really liked the haircut I got from Gia. Even though she did cut her hand while giving me a haircut (which did not inspire confidence) I did really like the end product. She also trimmed my beard, which was a nice touch. That said, I arrived 10 minutes early but still waited 30 to get my hair cut. The waiting area was nice and the staff was attentive, but there were two employees out front doing what seemed to e personal work. Do they not have a break room? It's hard to recommend this place. The service was good but pricey and the overall experience was not great. It is a nice space and it was busy so I assume there are many that like it."

"This is the third branch of Boardroom Salon that I have tried in Atlanta so far. It's not as nice as the Avalon or Buckhead locations, but the service is more important to me. First, with the positives. The staff is friendly and diligent. You have the standard wood panel walls of a high end barber shop. This location does not have a billiards table, but instead, has a chess set. Hey, at least they tried! When I entered I was not offered a drink. Two of the three chairs are situated under a loud TV. Imagine listening to Stephen A's rant on ESP at high volume with the TV above you. The person who took care of me did well with the brows. She showed great care. When we got to the pedicure and manicure, it went downhill. For example, she oddly started filling my nails before she cut them. I politely suggested sh cut them first. She then wrapped my hands in a scorching hot towel that caused my to jerk my hand back. She occasionally filed my skin more than my nails -- this occurred on my hands and feet. My guess is that she's not experienced at this particular work. I have to say she is very nice and I can tell she wants to do well. She's a keeper (with a lot more practice and mentoring from someone). I tipped her well as a gesture of encouragement."
