"This review is only for the bar not the Read House itself. Drinks were good (hard to mess up Jack and Ginger) Bartender made us feel unwelcome and ignored by having zero engagement. Vibe was nonexistent. So many other places within walking distance to spend one's money."
"This is a very pretty and romantic bar in the historic Read House Hotel serving old school cocktails. My favorite time of year is Christmas, because it feels extremely festive to meet friends for happy hour with the lobby decorated so beautifully. The staff dresses like flappers, so if that is your jam, this is the place for you!"
"The Read House was amazing! The atmosphere was to die for. It looked like you had stepped right back into the 1920s. The furniture was gorgeous. We were just there for a drink, and our server was friendly. The drinks were refreshing and just what we needed after a long day at a work conference!"
