"Was expecting from what I heard a great experience. Quite the opposite. It took over an hour to get our first drinks. It took just shy of 2 hours to get our dinner. The excuse they kept using was it was taking longer to cook scallops. Well, that was definitely not the case. Came out cold. All of our food was cool at best. Waitress had an attitude on top of everything else. Had to complain to the management several times. They only charged us for one meal. You got to be kidding, this shouldn't have charged us for any meal - they basically should have paid us it was that bad. Unfortunately not an experience we were expecting."
"Another night of great food, drink and memories. Last night, in celebration of my wife's birthday, our family of four decided to return to one of our favorite places on Earth - Trader Vic's in Atlanta. We only make it there one or two times a year, but it is by far, our favorite place for special occasions. So many great memories have been made here over the years. We've been bringing our daughters here since they were babies. They are now adults and it is so great to know that Vic's is always here to come back to you. Last night, we started with drinks in the bar made to perfection and served by our friends of many years - Salam and Milenko. These two gents are the heart and soul of the whole operation, working incredibly hard non-stop all evening to keep the masses happily satisfied. We started with the classic Navy Grog and then I had the Tiki Puka Puka. After seeing Milenko make it for someone else, I knew I had to have one. It was STRONG but wonderful and it set the tone for rest of the evening. When my daughters arrived, we moved to the dining area where they shared a Kava Bowl. As for food, my wife and I started with the Cosmo Tidbits and the Beef Cho Cho at the bar - both classics and incredibly tasty. At the dinner table, we shared the cauliflower wings and Polynesian fried chicken starters, both new to me and superb! Later my daughters devoured a half rack of spare ribs, my wife had the fried calimari and I had the Asian salad for the first time (with grilled shrimp option) and LOVED it. As always, the food is of the highest quality. Chef Cheing has been working hard in the kitchen for many years and I love that he is constantly re-thinking the menu. It seems there are always new things or newly re-imagined classics on the menu. The table service, as we've come to expect at Vic's is simply the best and tonight was no exception with Shentu tending to our every need, including surprising my wife with a slice of cheesecake for her birthday. Thanks to all!"
"We were super excited to visit this legendary establishment and loved our drinks very much! Super fun glassware, huge menu of drinks, and very fun decor. Unfortunately we had some of the most lackadaisical service I’ve ever witnessed... Also parking is a nightmare, so Uber if possible."
"Stopped in to eat during DragonCon. The hostess stated it was reservation only but that there was a table available between reservations if we didn't mind eating and not lingering to talk. We agreed. I had the Asian salad, and their known for Mai Tai. Both were really good. My friend had the Salmon and that too was very good. The atmosphere was friendly along with the staff, even with how busy it was. Went back again and had the fried rice, and it too was really delicious. A great place to eat."
