"Worst experience ever! Buyers be aware that this nursery does not honor their 1 year warranty, they will tell you that the plant is covered for a year etc to get the sale and take your money but when the plant dies they will say that it was not covered. Here what happened to me, recently moved to GA, I was not aware of what plants grow here so asked the person working at the nursery for help, we bough 6 emerald greens and they weren’t the best looking but we were told that they will do fine once planted and they are covered by 1 year warranty, now we have only one emerald green that survived and other ones are dead I contacted the nursery about the warranty and after 20 days of multiple emails they told me that they will not honor their warranty because the person that worked there gave us wrong information and if you buy plants BOGO then there is no warranty. So we paid for the plants, rented a truck to bring home, bought good soil and all of that money is wasted . I suppose to get a phone call from Kevin, the owner and he never called me back. If you want to buy plants save yourself money and a headache. Please go somewhere else and buy your plants from reputable place like Pike Nursery or Home Depot so if something happens you will not get scammed and those places honor their warranty."
"Bought 6 trees from them that were half dead, but I needed them and they were the last ones, plus the guy said they were just brown from heat and would come back. They all died and they refused to issue a refund or store credit. Bad business."
"We came by yesterday afternoon to pick out a NEW front foundation plant pkg for Mom, and Today we're installing. AWESOME selection and great friendly staff to assist. This is one of the best local nurseries in South Atlanta... this is the spot to take Mom for ideas & help choosing the right plants!"
"Great assortment of plants, shrubs, trees, and supplies. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. We love shopping here, and everything we have purchased has thrived. It is a must stop when looking for any of the above. We will be back."
"Update 2022. Tree is almost dead (see photo). I wish they had cared more for the tree in the first place…. But certainly should have honored their warranty last year. Original 2021 - I don’t believe this store or it’s owner Kevin care about their customers. In April 2020 I purchased a $500 maple from Breaking Ground and paid to have them install it. When it arrived it was clear the tree had been mishandled by the delivery person. Two of the main branches were not wrapped for the drive and the leaves were badly wilted by the high wind. My instincts were to refuse it but I didn’t. After installing the guy splashed water on them and said they’ll recover. They didnt. In fact, a few days later I noticed a third branch had been split along with a decent gouge on the trunk of the tree. I took photos and brought them to store and was told “don’t worry, those leaves will come back...besides, the tree has a one year warranty”. I dutifully watered and cared for the tree. This spring (2021) those three branches, which is about 20% of the tree, were clearly dead and the tree is now lopsided. I took more photos and went to store to seek replacement. The associate looked at the photos and agreed. We scheduled the delivery for April 30 and I took afternoon off of work to be there. When replacement tree arrived (same installer as prior year) the first thing I noted was the new tree was ALSO not protected from the wind... and the leaves were in bad shape. Before I could say anything about it the guy muttered “we’re not replacing THAT f-in tree... it’s not dead”. He clearly seemed miffed by this and called his boss telling me afterward “were not installing replacement and Kevin will call to explain”. He then drove off with the new tree. After few hours later with no call I called the store and asked for Kevin but was told he was offsite. They took my number but i am yet to heard a word. So if this was simply a couple of branches that didn’t survive for natural reasons I would be understanding. But the only reason I have this issue is that the tree was mishandled by them! And to be completely disrespected in this process I feel they simply don’t care about customers. I was not trying to scam them... I just wanted a quality tree and install job."
