"I like my drinks, but I really love my food, so this isn’t really a go-to place for me despite the cute and convenient location. If they had a regular food truck schedule, I’m sure I’d go more often. The drinks are also on the sweet side for me. I did attend their annual “not a hot toddy” bartender competition and enjoyed the event. I bought the tickets even though the description was very vague—two cocktails and dinner. Dinner was a grilled cheese food truck, and one cocktail was a welcome hot toddy with only one drink ticket. It was misleading, but still fun. My biggest suggestion would be to have Christmas/holiday music for an event like that. Two of the cocktails were inspired by songs, and we played them on the phone at our table. Would have been a real vibe if everyone there could have had the full experience, and so easy. It is a cute place and I wish them the best, but with all the great food and drinks on the square, I’d need some sort of appealing food to go there again."
"I visited Third Door for the first time over a year ago for a date and I loved the atmosphere and drinks so much. We spent a couple of hours with good drinks and just talked. The crowd here was pretty chill. I returned here for a book club meeting today and the atmosphere was still very chill with tables spaced out well and the doors open to the outdoors. The drink menu is small but has a great variety of delicious drinks. I can’t wait to return."
"Went to a Lyre's (alcohol free spirits) tasting here. The bar has a great atmosphere and the rep was incredibly knowledgeable! They have these spirits at the bar so you can get a no or low alcohol option. From what I can tell there's no kitchen, so no food. They have lots of live entertainment and events. They aren't very active on social, and they don't list all their events on Facebook so be sure to check the website regularly- that's how I found out about this event. I'll def come back to check them out during regular hours, especially now that I know that they have Lyre's! Update: they now have some small plates available in limited quantities in the weekend."
"If you're looking for a place with a cozy backyard atmosphere, live music, and a decent sangria, The Third Door might be worth a visit. I stopped by on July fourth, and while the overall experience landed at a three-star rating, there were some highlights and drawbacks to note. First things first, keep in mind that The Third Door only serves alcohol. However, they've cleverly arranged for a separate food vendor outside, so you won't go hungry while enjoying your drinks. Speaking of which, their sangria was quite enjoyable and hit the spot nicely. Most seating options are outside, allowing you to soak up the sun and enjoy the fresh air. The presence of a stage out for live music adds to the relaxed and casual vibe, giving you the feeling of being at a backyard gathering. Now, let's discuss the service, which unfortunately fell short of expectations. Our server seemed to vanish into thin air after the initial interaction, leaving us feeling somewhat neglected. I hope it was due to the holiday schedule and not a regular occurrence. On a positive note, if luck is on your side, you might score a seat in the air-conditioned trailer, a welcome respite from the summer heat. It's a cool and unique feature that adds to the experience. In summary, if you're in the neighborhood and looking for a laid-back spot with outdoor seating, live music, and a tasty sangria, The Third Door could be a decent option. Just be aware that the service can be hit-or-miss. Stop by for a cold drink, enjoy the backyard vibes, and keep your fingers crossed for a seat in the air-conditioned trailer. Cheers!"
"I have been looking for a nice cocktail bar after relocating and I finally found one! The camper theming of the third door is great. The live music was perfect for the atmosphere. The drinks were perfect, although I do wish there were some more themed drinks for summer. All in all it was a great experience and I can’t wait to come back!"
