Sole Shoe Company

"My daughter purchased a beautiful ring with a cross from Sole Shoe Company located in Perry, GA. The ring was $51.36 (with tax). The day after she bought it her finger turned green. I could understand the ring turning her finger green if she purchased it from Claire’s for $10 but not $51. Although it states on the receipt “all jewelry and sales items are final,” I called to ask about an exchange or refund (my daughter works hard to earn her own money and wanted to buy this for herself—she’s 16). I spoke with a girl named Sarah who answered the phone. I asked her what I could do and she said nothing because all sales are final. I then provided my contact info and asked if they would kindly ask the owner to give me a call. Sarah stated “I mean, I will but there’s nothing they are going to do because it says all sales are final on the receipt and there is a sign next to the jewelry stating so as well.” I asked Sarah if there was also a sign that warned consumers the jewelry on display would tarnish the very next day. I never did receive a call from the owners. I understand return policies, and my daughter does as well. However, when you pay $51 for a ring you expect a little better quality than a ring that tarnishes the next day. Don’t waste your money on their jewelry like my daughter did. At best, it’s bubble gum machine quality. Hoping consumers see this before they making any purchase."
