Reviews of Rina
"We had a great experience at Rina at their Avalon location. The appetizers were delicious and of great value (six plates deal). The main courses reminded me of the Tel Aviv food scene where street food is elevated to a whole different level. I recommend this restaurant highly."
"We recently tried the new Rina location that just opened at the Avalon. We had been anxiously anticipating its opening because we are obsessed with Mediterranean food! The menu was decently expansive and had several dishes to choose from. We had the Hummus No. 0 for an appetizer. It was good! It was served with pita and cold veggies to dip. The pita was super delicious, but only a couple were given. If you wanted more, it was an extra cost. For the entrees, he got Jaffa Fish and Chips and I got the salmon kebabs. His fries were amazing with the fish and chips. Super crispy and served with a really good mayo based sauce! They gave a lot of fish and fries, the portion was huge. My boyfriend had like 6 pieces of fish! The salmon kebabs were yum. They were served over dill rice and some seasonal veggies. To me, the food wasn’t super authentic “Med” food. It was good, but wasn’t like other Mediterranean places around this area that are very authentic. The restaurant itself was super cute, and there’s a full bar. Service was good, and we would probably go back for a quick meal at the Avalon!"
"We had a wonderful experience at Rina Avalon tonight. Leonardo and Erica were so welcoming and helpful with menu suggestions. Everything was so fresh and delicious. Very unique flavor combinations and delicious sauces. The hummus No. O was some of the best hummus I've eaten and my husband's chicken shawarma pita was outstanding. The chicken shawarma street fries were so good and flavorful. I tried the harissa mayo to dip in the fries and it was perfectly tangy and delicious to compliment the dish. The half sour pickles are so good I'll definitely be getting those on my sandwich next time. I'm looking forward to trying the beef kabob, burger, and falafel salad next time. This is a great addition to Avalon and I definitely recommend checking it out as soon as possible. Get ready for a truly unique culinary experience."
"An awesome set up here really like this new location compared to the Atlanta beltline area. The food comes out in great timing, seasoned very well and really loving the Israeli street food style cuisine. I strongly suggest trying the smashed beef kabob pita along with some halloumi fries. They have great selection of cocktails definitely worth the experience if you like refreshing frozen drinks. Will be back real soon for lunch or dinner before a movie at the theater near by"
"I loved this food experience! The menu is a journey that can be enjoyed in so many different ways. Want a shareable experience? Go for shared appetizers like the halumi fries (similar to a fried mozzarella stick but much tastier) and don’t skip the signature sauce! and the hummus, any of the choices are the best you will taste this side of the Atlantic. Share a main and add the Mezza, a selection of shareable side dishes all with unique flavors to delight the tastebuds. On par with Olivia groups other restaurants this casual eatery has a full bar of expertly mixed cocktails. Save Room for desert! The milkshakes and chocolate chunk cookies are out of this world. At Rina you can warm up with the best Mediterranean comfort foods or stick with multi courses healthy selections. Dietary restrictions? No problem vegan, dairy free and vegetarian options are standard on the not standard menu. And if you’ve never had a sabich sandwich grab one to go, they taste as good from the bag as they do from the kitchen, maybe even better after all the flavors meld together!"
