"It had been a long time since our last visit because it is a fair distance from the interstates and never open early or late when we pass through Macon. We were nicely surprised at the main sales area that was clean and well organized. Great variety. The back buildings were stuffed with goodies at nice prices."

"Love this place and never leave empty-handed! Very unique items and do a lot of birthday & Christmas shipping here as always finding something different for everybody! There's also the cool factor of actually walking through a historic landmark! The staff is always friendly and will even take your items to the front for you so you don't have to carry them throughout... of course that may be so you can buy more stuff - LOL! The only reason I deducted a star is the fact that the rear building is not wheelchair friendly."

"We were passing thru Macon and did a Google search for "antiques" and up popped Payne Mill Village Antique Mall. What a find! The place is in an old factory/warehouse that has as much history as its contents! The place is layed out nicely and organized making it easy to browse... and it is large! Plan on an hour or more depending on your shopping speed. There is a good mix of high end pieces and collectibles....and prices on many items are very reasonable (shhh!). There was a lot of large and unique furniture pieces that we would have picked up if we had the cargo space to cart them home...but we left with a number of "finds" and will definitely be back in the future."
