"The food tasted amazing and the staff is super friendly. The only thing is the menu prices online are not the correct menu prices as in store. The correct prices are WAY higher than what is posted online. Please update the pricing"
"I order based on a co-worker who said the delivery fee was under $2.00. The online menu says the sandwiches/wraps with one side is $8.97-9.97. So I ordered the chicken Philly wrap and I asked for Baked chips. What I got charged was $14, what received was this lil wrap with no chips for $14.00! NEVER AGAIN!"
"New: Third time not so much a charm: I Doordashed an order to my job. I ordered for myself and my two coworkers. We also ordered a small soup. When the food got here,, the plastic bag had liquid in it and the brown bags that had food in them were wet. My chicken salad sandwich bread was wet in spots. Thank goodness my coworkers food was not wet. Just the paper it was wrapped in. I had to wipe my chip bag off, It was kind of embarrassing that I recommended the Cafe.. The chicken salad was still great, but not on soggy bread! There could have been a better way to package the soup so that everyone's bag would not be totally soaked at the bottom. Aui9This was my 2nd time eating at Gateway Cafe. I had a chicken salad sandwich. I love chicken salad, so I was already judgy LOL I wanted it on a croissant, but they were out and they put it on sweet Hawaii bread. It was still good! I could eat that everyday for lunch. That chicken salad is better than Chiken Salad Chick! I love this little spot! I wish it was closer to my job, and I wish they were open later. But whenever I am near downtown and they are open, I will be there!"
"For lunch I decide to try this place out. The food was delicious! However, I felt like the staff needed better organization and communication."
"Ok... two great meals now, so I must post... First was a Buff. Chicken sandwich prepared to order with a side of potato soup... great and filling. Today, Shrimp and Roasted Corn Chowder... It was really good and the price was just right. Great meal.... and then... Yes there is more... they referred me to Felicia's Cakes (a block or so down the alley)... what a great recommendation."
