"I paid 18.63 for a 2 piece catfish plate and it was not worth it. I called to see why it was so expensive and I got a nice nasty attitude. The 2 piece plate was 14 and some change. So she goes on to say you got sour cream. Well how much was that (.25)! Top of the River (River Boat) is always on point and you get some cornbread and cole slaw for that price!! Won't get anymore of my money. And even with the attitude I was still calm. Then the cashier said he should've asked for a receipt. Heck, i guess for flatware and a napkin as well."

"The food and service were good, the facility isn't much to look at, and when you first walk in, the front area is a little alarming in its appearance. The dining area looked better and kinda small. The food was very good. I had the double small hambuger with cheese, and it was huge. I'm glad I went with the small burger! The home fries were good and piping hot. The burger wasn't very hot, which disappointed me a little. I figured they waited on the other meal to be ready to serve us at the same time. But that little burger was very good and more than I should've eaten."

"The best ribeye’s and pork chops anywhere I know of. Small town restaurant with great small town service that will beat any big chain food place anywhere. Give it a try if your in the area. Well worth the 125 mile drive and we will do it again. Just made another trip and it is under new management and ownership. Food is still just as good and the service was excellent. Prices seem to be the same or very close as in the past. Very pleasant and pleasing trip and looking forward to returning again."
