"I have been in Dr Garner's care for over 5 years. I am a generally healthy person, with little need for special care. However over the past year, my health situation changed. During this time, I found Dr Garner to be unresponsive to health messages through MyChart. The same was true when I called the office directly and left messages requesting return communication. When I returned to his office for a follow up visit, he did not remember the nature of my visit or my name. While I understand he has many patients, I would assume that he takes time to review a chart. In addition, I had been in his office for several scheduled visits over the course of 4-5 months (prior to the scheduled follow up) related to the issue. At the follow-up visit, he assured me that there was no further need for concern or additional testing. At the end of the day, it is important to note that the issue did not resolve. I was thankfully referred to a specialist, through another doctor and I am grateful for his thorough care. I am currently awaiting the results from pathology for a biopsy that should have occurred last year according to all the professionals I have spoke with in my recent care. If you have need of routine care alone, Dr. Garner is a nice fellow. If you need a doctor who is responsive, thorough, and communicative, he is not your man. I will not be returning to Dr Garner. **Update: I have since been diagnosed with cancer. Shame on Dr Garner for his complacent response to my medical care."

"Dr.Garner is by far the best primary CARE doctor I’ve had. And when when I empathize the word care it’s because he actually cares about his patients. It’s not a two minute appointment, he’s not rushing out the door, he’s not just prescribing a quick fix. He’s a let’s get to the bottom of this kind of doctor. Let’s go see a specialist and see what they kind find out if he can’t help or it’s outside his spectrum. I can not applaud enough for how amazing this doctor is. I just wish there were many more like him. He actually sits down and listens to ALL of your problems! Doesn’t matter if it’s 30 minutes. He’s going to sit and listen. I love Dr.Garner!
