"People are relatively nice. However, they keep ridiculously silly hours with no after hours contact. Bankers would be frustrated at all the time the office is closed. They prescribed a cough medication on Dec. 30. It was one that was previously prescribed and was ineffective. It couldn't be resolved until Jan 4 because they were closed without any after hours contact. They sent a new prescription on Jan 4. Couldn't be filled because the pharmacy needed clarification on the prescription.We talked to them Jan 5 in the morning and they said they'd fix it. Then they closed at NOON. I called the pharmacy, no new prescription. Did I mention there is no after hours doctor? As they are closed, there won't be any resolution for another 3 days. We'd try another doctor but it's weeks for a new appointment. Time to look for a new Primary."
"I would just like to say thank you to North Macon Family Healthcare for offering such a fine and dedicated service to their patients. Courtney is my NP. She has a very warm and pleasant personality and has always been very attentive, and is genuinely empathetic and eager to address any of my questions or concerns about my healthcare needs. Also, the lab technicians are very accommodating and do a great job. Ashley gave me a pneumonia shot about 3 weeks ago and a flu shot today. I’ll have to take her word for it because I didn’t feel a thing either time. She is definitely the best shot giver that I have ever experienced. Also, the office staff are always very friendly and courteous. This is a great medical practice to meet anyone’s primary healthcare needs."

"It’s taken me 9 months to collect my thoughts on what I wanted to say on this review. I went to this office for 2 years with reoccurring UTIs. No answers and often times no one would even call me back. One time the results came back inconclusive and the lady at the front desk made a comment suggesting it may be an STD. As if I don’t know my own body. Last April when I had my final UTI that lasted for 4 weeks because no one would call me back at this office when I left SEVERAL messages saying the antibiotic was not working and I was in pain. Then when I messaged Stacey via Healow her nurse or employee, Autumn told my mom that I was LYING and had never called when I had record that I called on several occasions. So in May I went to the ER where they ran my urine and immediately sent me for a CT scan where I found out my left kidney could not drain. The urologist on call took me into surgery within the hour to place a stent in my kidney. I had Hydronephrosis. My left kidney was 80% bigger than my right and a UPJ obstruction causing my left kidney to fail only functioning at 17%. Fast forward to January and I just had a Pyeloplasty to allow me to keep my kidney even though it barely has function. My urologist said “the damage has been done” Moral of the story do not go to this office. Do not trust anyone at this office, they do not take you seriously no matter how much pain you are in. If someone would have actually done their job maybe I would have caught this sooner on. This is only a few examples of the horrible treatment I received here. Do not go here. Update* this has been up for 6 months and no one from the practice has reached out"
"I used to use this office and I've always received great customer service until recently. I was a returning patient and wanted to schedule an appointment. I called back in early June to schedule an appointment with Dr. Duke. The woman on the phone, Lexi, was telling me that I had to complete the process as a new patient with paperwork and all, to ensure my information was accurate, which was fine. She told me how to go online, to print and fill out the paperwork, and that I can just bring it in on the day of my appointment. My first red flag should have been how rude she was when she mentioned that "Dr. Duke doesn't have anything available for a while." Which again, I'm usually understanding and this was fine. She eventually scheduled me for an appointment for July 26th at 4:15 pm. (I added the appointment date and time to my calendar while we were on the phone to make sure I didn't forget.) *I should've noticed that something seemed too easy about this process.* I ended up having to reschedule due to an upcoming event, for work, being on the same date as my appointment. I called to reschedule for the same woman who scheduled my appointment for 4:15pm on July 26th, Lexi, to tell me that I DO NOT have an appointment with them! I explained how I called at the beginning of June to schedule and that I wrote it down. Not only does she go to tell me how the appointment was not in the system, but she tells me that Dr. Duke is OFF that day! --I told Ms. Lexi that she did not have to assist me any further and that I will be finding a new doctors office. I hate to leave Stacey though. She was so nice and helpful!-- --Bottom line, I will not be returning here due to the negligence and incompetence of the front desk staff. If this is happening with an appointment, I can only imagine what types of records, labs, or documents are also lost or just disregarded. This place has lost my trust!--"
