"Sand Hill wasn't close to what it was like in Harmony Church. "Sand Hilton!" It was the Hilton compared to these old Army barracks. I was there summer of 85 E-9-2. Very proud of what I did and my platoon and company achieved. Earned Guide Platoon, I think it's what it was called. Because we earned a flag for our guide arm in every category. I believe they said first platoon to achieve that in 3 years. I earned Top Gun for scoring the highest in TOW Gun. I was never in better shape, and pretty damn proud of myself. Thank you DI's and Fort Benning"
