Reviews of T.O. Vinson Health Center
"All the staff was very friendly and caring. I never felt uncomfortable. Everything was explained and done in a professional private manner. I will go back"
"Idk about anyone else's review but ive had thee best experience here. Security upstairs (Miss Sheila) was amazing and very accommodating. Miss Angel (front desk downstairs) and Miss Rachael( nurse) went above and beyond to help me to make sure my kids were taken care of for school. They were very understanding of my situation (just moving here) and had a high level of patience as i waited for documents to come in. They kept my kids calmed as they were restless. This particular building of staff were amazing."
"Very rude staff and ridiculous scheduling. Went in 30 minutes after they opened to get a vax record printed and was told it would be a 4 hour wait. Called another 5 times that week with no answer. Left 2 voicemails with no call back. When I finally got someone on the phone, they told me I could just come in and get it printed quickly. Went back in and was told it would be another 2 hour wait."
"1st- the doctors here ARE excellent... Everytime that, either I or someone I know comes here, there's some kind of problem with time & attitudes from staff; There's hardly ANYone here expect maybe 4 people, at the most. They are quick 2 say that they are packed/full. They will tell you (over the phone), that they ARE accepting people, but turn u around when u come (yea I talked 2 them at 8:20 & got here at 9:40, every1 DON'T have a vehicle), instead of having a set time 4 when they stop accepting walk ins. Even when you have an appointment or be a walk in, you STILL wait ALL day just to be seen. I came in @ 8:40am, NO ONE was at the desk, I had 2 find some1, that person told me the head nurse said no more patients, and it looks like a desert out here. I ended getting an appointment for 1pm. I am here for STD testing. Theirs a lady who was here b4 I came, with her child (whom they also got an attitude with & tried 2 turn around) she had some kind of appointment, ok she got what she needed FINALLY & just left (10:22am) They're 2 people in the back STILL waiting (remember I got her at 9:40). No one has walked in, no other walk outs, its still early, this is dang near Atlanta (meaning a lot of people) meaning THIS IS NOT FULLY PACKED not even close. I'm going 2 sit here 4 my 1pm appointment & watch, although I've seen this same scene, with THEM, for some years now. I will keep taking note, recordings, pics for the justice of the people whom come here for help/services. Afterwards I will make my decision on my letter to the commissioner, county health admin, and whomever else that can help with a resolution to this problem. YES, having workers who mostly sit in a healthcare facility, barely any patients, attitudes when u disturb their silence to ask a question, turning people around when there's NO ONE HERE, making people WAIT when theirs no one here IS a MAJOR problem. Especially when it is still happening. I was told that there were appointments ahead of me. NO ONES here, why make me wait, lol, this is crazy. Knowing people had been saying abt this place, it seems as if they do it on purpose so that no one wants to come here. If this place doesn't have clients, they will soon stop receiving funds, thus at the end of it ALL, YOU will be out of a job..."
"Exceptional care and knowledge shared by Nurse Claudina Prince. She was thorough with her guidance and especially helpful in getting my vaccinations added to GRITS when a previous care provider failed to do so. Outstanding service, Nurse Prince! Thank you!"
