"I totally agree with Ms. Lynne Jones. This person does not deserve to be called a doctor. As she noted, she poked and prodded me and had no bedside manner. She was not only hard to understand, but she offered no actual advice and acted annoyed by questions. She clearly did not want to communicate with me any more than she had to to be even slightly polite. She ordered tests that she minimally discussed with me that she said stated that I have "generalized neuropathy" which I already knew from my PCP. She offered no additional medication or treatment beyond the Gabapentin I was already taking. When I pressed her she said she had heard that some people got some relief from a combination of iron and vitamin B12. B12 is not an option for me as my level was already out of normal acceptable range. She totally wasted my time and I will have to find another neurologist. This is what happens when doctors in a medical group MUST refer patients to a doctor within their employing medical group. Either that or the referring doctor didn't do his/her homework before making the referral. Color me frustrated!"

"I went to "Dr" Shang bc my ENT referred her. She is a joke. I was wondering if she even understood English. She takes you through a robot series of little punches, probes, pulls and whatnot without uttering a word. She never asked me a question or spoke to me except to give me a curt instruction. She ordered a MRI and never contacted me about results and never spoke to me . I got the feeling she likes what the good ole USA offers her in opportunities but hates Americans. I would advise anyone and everyone to steer clear of this heifer and find a real neurologist. She is, in my opinion, an extremely sorry excuse for any kind of doctor and especially for a neurologist. A complete waste of money, time and hope that I might could have found a clue as to what is going on with me. Stay away from this person if you truly need help."

"She does not deserve even one star. This is not a doctor I'd recommend to anyone. After months, I finally convinced my 70+ year old friend to seek help for his essential tremor condition. It has worsened so much in the last decade that he is afraid to eat in public for fear he might embarrass himself. He has, for decades worked on tiny model railroads, but can't do that anymore because he can't hold his hands still. This man is a 22 year retired war veteran of the United States Air force who managed to control his own disease for decades - enough so that he repeatedly won a marksmanship ribbon and up until very recently could shoot better than most men half his age. He has had this disease for as long as he can remember. It started before he was ten years old. He has never sought treatment for it before, never even knowing the name of the problem until very recently. I found through my own pitiful internet searches that there was some new technology that could be used to mitigate and relieve the symptoms and in some cases completely stop the tremors. His current doctor recommended Shang. This last week was his first (and last) appointment with this horrible rude, insensitive, uncaring, contemptuous, self-serving, dismissive creature. I will not insult doctors by calling her one. This woman treated him like he was a spoiled two year old demanding undeserved attention for something she evidently considered "just a nuisance you should learn to live with". Further accusing him, and I quote, "Oh, you're one of those. Just looking for a miracle cure." Seriously? She claimed she had never heard of any of the new treatment options (such as Cala Trio) and then insisted on writing him yet another prescription to add to the ones he takes already that don't work, but keep you enslaved to doctors like her for prescription refills every couple of months. I don't think so. I'm not sure I can even convince him to try again. She was so horrible he doesn't even want to try and has been very depressed since the appointment. I hope I can, because his quality of life is severely affected by this condition., I'm going to find out if his insurance will allow him to go to Doctor Olango, (also of LaGrange) who I've seen for migraines and who is a wonderful caring doctor with a fantastic staff. He couldn't help my headaches, but he made me believe he wanted to and he really tried. Bottom line, this woman is not a good doctor and she is a worse human being. She is a dismissive pill pusher who enjoyed belittling and dismissing my good friend and will you too if she can't figure out how to milk you for money. Save yourself the trouble. Don't waste your time and insurance on her."
