"A great, hometown, Mom & Pop style restaurant with a great family atmosphere. The owners know everyone and make you feel like they are part of the family. The sweet tea tastes just like Granny used to make. Definitely recommend, but give yourself 10-15 extra minutes on Friday and Saturday night. They will be packed, but the wait will not be terrible. Andy, the owner, has a passion for making great food and wants your experience to be perfect. Give them a try!"

"I had the catfish, which was good. But my fries came out luke warm. The server was nice enough to bring a fresh batch for me and one of the others sitting with me. Being my first time, I kept hearing the fries being cold is common. Since there are not many side options, this should be addressed. While waiting to be seated outside on the pleasant porch, another patron mentioned the shrimp was hard to peel. Another in my party had the same experience. So, I would encourage the management to look into fixing the two items I mentioned. It would have been nice to have pan seared scallops or shrimp. Everything is old-schooled, deep-fried."

"I give them 4.5 stars!! First time going to this hidden gem. Opened at 5pm and we arrived at 6pm and the place was packed. A table for 3 took about 45mins before we were seated, but once our food arrived we realized it was well worth the wait. Everyone was friendly and food was tasty and hot. The portions were enough. Me and my family will definitely be coming back. I recommend checking them out!!!"
