"I give David Boaz a 5 star, but I give his staff a one star. Seems like this practice has a revolving door with their staff; they take forever to answer, usually end up in voice mail; After leaving a message, I'm lucky if they return my calls confirming or responding to questions or requests, not very professional if you ask me. Also, what is up with all those signs around the front desk?"

"While I’ve read some negative reviews in regards to Dr. Boaz, I can only speak of my own experiences with Dr. Boaz and his staff. Dr. Boaz had earned my confidence on my first visit: He was genuine, showed concern, asked questions, was/is knowledgeable and most importantly he listened/listens. Without going into a lot of detail, I had to find a new primary Dr., after the primary Dr. I had prescribed OxyCodone to me - I had gone in for an emergency visit, she did not listen to my complaints, did not run any tests nor took any blood, just wrote a prescription for OxyCodone! This did not sit well with me so, I had to find a new Dr. I admit, I had serious doubts that I was going to find a Doctor like I had back home in NY. I believe I had approximately 3 Primary Care Drs since I had moved to GA and each Doctor fell short of what my expectations were! And not one of them ‘cared’. I had really begun to think there were absolutely no good Drs here in the South. After lengthy research, as opposed to going by ‘recommendations’, I found a few Doctors that seemed to have good reviews and ratings; I.E.: WebMD. Dr. Boaz was on my list of potential Drs. and he was the first Doctor that could get me in immediately. Again, I had my apprehension, but, the minute I started speaking with his assistant and then with Dr. Boaz, my fears of finding a good Doctor were laid to rest. For me, it’s not just the comfortability you need with your Drs it’s the trust you need to have with your Drs. Again, I can only speak for myself, but, Dr. Boaz always went above and beyond, he truly cared/cares about his patients. He will not play games with you, he will give you the respect you deserve and will not treat you as if you’re ‘incompetent’ or just ‘another patient’. Unfortunately, I had to move so, I had to change Doctors. All I can say, Dr. Boaz and staff… I miss you all!!! Thank you all for the care you had given me as your patient!!!"

"Dr Boaz. Is one of the best primary care doctors i have seen. About 22 years ago i moved to atlanta at that time i saw Dr Boaz then he went to start his own practice and fortunately i was able to find him 4 years ago. He takes time to listen to patients and genuinely cares about any issues they have and proactively treats them."

"I had been going to doctor Boaz for about 20 years but decided to leave this week for another primary. While I recommend Boaz the small town feel is no longer there and starting to feel like a number. In my case I usually call in for refill of high blood pressure medicine. It used to be easy enough but now it has changed which is still OK and to be expected. But this time I spoke to someone who must be new, or at least I had never spoken to him before, and I was unable to get my medication. The reason was because I had to come in to be seen which was perfectly reasonable so I agreed to come in the earliest possible which was in about a week. He was about to end call and I asked about high blood pressure meds until I get in and he said no. I said half jokingly what do I do to not have heart attack over weekend do I go to emergency room to get meds? Answer was yes. So for me, the small town feel is gone. Instead of going to ask a doctor what to do with a potential life altering decision seems to be corporate and without common sense and compassion. I ultimately found a few of my meds in a pill box I had in my luggage from last out of town trip so that helped get me through the weekend. But again...I do recommend Boaz."

"Dr. Boaz and his nurses and office staff are amazing. Rather than rushing us out of the office as quickly as they are able, they spend a nice amount of time actually getting to know me and my family. They show genuine care and concern for us as people, not just as their patients. The wait time is very reasonable. I spent very little time in the waiting room and then when I was brought back to the exam room, there was very little wasted time in there as well. We are thrilled to call Dr. Boaz our family physician as well as our friend!"
