Reviews of Foundation Academy, Perry Center
"If you are thinking of taking your child here DONT!!!! Management is horrible and they do not care about child safety and GA state rules. The entire center needs to be shut down and replaced with an entire new management. They are constantly being reported by parents for mistreatment of the children. Don’t waste your money or time on this place."
"My son went here for 2 days. It did not go well. The teachers that I dealt with were carefree. I had many many issues within 2 days. Pulled him out after the 2nd day. The director asked me “did you have any issues?” After calling to unroll him. I responded “yes ma’am, we had several actually” she then responds with “oh ok”. I addressed my concerns in person when picking up my sons items. I spoke with a director in training & she was very apologetic. Unfortunately, I won’t send my son back. I can’t work & constantly worry if my kid is being cared for or not."
"Looks like this center who is ran by the same owner is having the same issues the Newnan GA center is. Very unprofessional! They even kicked my child out of the Newnan center because I brought up concerns. Teachers changing diapers without washing hands or wearing gloves. My child was injured twice with no report. I had to ask what happen. Not to mention the director treats her teachers like trash. Yells at them threatens them. This is a bad child care center in all location!"
"This daycare is unlike any other center in town. The care they give to the children is unbeatable. They keep great communication with parents and they always put the children first. I feel extremely blessed to have found this center with all of the sweet employees. 10/10 recommend sending your child here!"
"We just pulled our daughter from the one on Houston Lake and it was a nightmare! The teachers in the newborn class was great but it started when she moved to the one year old class. Constantly losing clothes and ruining bibs by using bleach even after we told them multiple times not to clean. Repeated yeast infections and rashes with open sores because not properly cleaning her, we would doctor it in the evening and it would get better over night only to send her back the next day and have to start over. She wasn't taking naps because they would only try to get them to sleep from 11-2, evenings were a nightmare. But the final and worst straw was when the teacher fed or daughter a chocolate chip cookie without or asking, she barely had any teeth so she never had anything close to that and then was rudely arguing with my wife telling her "she knew what she was doing" . And then the next day after telling the director what happened the teacher jumped down my wife's throat saying she never said that! Even though she was arguing with her about it and defending her action just the day before!! And don't get me started about the director, she was slow to act on all of this even though my wife let her know about every issue but she would only "talk" to the teachers and nothing would ever happen. Everyone we have talked too have had issues as well and eventually pulled their kids. my baby has been at her new daycare for 3 weeks and absolutely no issues, completely night and day difference all the way around, no rashes/ yeast infections, staying fed and rested and is in a great mood in the evenings! She's a completely different baby!! This place is also the most expensive daycare around so save yourself the time and money and find somewhere else to go!"
