"I had one appointment with her and it was a horrible experience. Within the probably 15 minute appointment, she completely invalidated my mental health struggles and diagnoses I recieved from previous doctors. It felt like she rushed through the appointment and just prescribed me medication without listening to me. I was prescribed medication that I should not have been on given my diagnoses that she completely ignored which led to a very rough month following the appointment. I couldn’t recommend her less."
"Appointments are smooth and quick. I love telehealth! Dr. Aligeti really listens and works with you to get your medications right so you can function at your best!"
"I had a Telehealth appointment with Sabitha Aligeti , scheduled for Wednesday, October 5, 2022 12:20 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) via telemed through Lifestance. It was a horrible experience. I was looking for a new psychiatrist, because mine just retired. I was with him for years. I ended the appointment within five minutes of it starting. She did not read my chart. She had no knowledge of my conditions, and ridiculed my medications. She also, told me prior to even speaking to me that she doesn't prescribe benzos, because they are contraindicated for anxiety/PTSD (what?). I had a twenty plus minute conversation with the staff prior to booking the appointment, because I wanted to stay on my current medication and have someone that I felt comfortable talking to. They assured me that she was friendly and warm and would review my medical records prior to the appointment, because I get anaphylaxis from most medications. But, the final straw was when she told me that I was too young to have spine surgery. I am deeply disturbed by her lack of patient care. Needless to say, I ended the visit and I reported her to the medical board by 1:12 pm."
"I stuck it out a few appointment with Dr. Aligeti but was not able to continue having her manage my medications. I had been stable on a medication for awhile that had been prescribed at my college psychiatric center and simply needed Dr. Aligeti to take over prescribing once I graduated. After about 5 months of seeing her, I was dealing with a relapse in my depressive symptoms so I made an appointment with Dr. Aligeti. When I told her about my symptoms she proceeded to prescribe me multiple medications in which I had some hesitation and wanted more clarification about them. I had a really hard time understand her, what the plan was, how to "slowly" integrate each medicine properly and ended up leaving the appointment in tears because I felt afraid and alone. Ultimately, I ended up in a psychiatric hospital a few days later due to issues with the new medications (a very unpleasant experience) that I had been prescribed. I even tried to contact Dr. Aligeti while in the hospital (and after the fact) and never got a response even to this day! I always felt like Dr. Aligeti rushed me through appointments and didn't seem to connect well with the symptoms I shared that I was experiencing. I ended up finding a nurse practitioner through the same practice (Lifestance Health) as I have heard that np's are typically a little easier to chat with/relate to and I have been so thankful I switched! Unless you know exactly what you want from you medication provider, I wouldn't recommend Dr. Aligeti."
"Very happy with our first visit! Dr. Aligeti took the time to get to know my mother and I and went over our list of concerns. She was clear and concise with a treatment plan and our follow up was scheduled within 15 mins of our tele-visit. 5 stars!"
