"Dr. Bay was the most uncaring doctor I have been to. Never felt a connection with him but went to keep medication current. I unknowingly had a $15 unpaid balance because of them using an old address. I promptly settled it as soon as I was aware but Dr. Bay and his equally uncaring office staff said I could no longer be his patient because of the late payment. Wow! $15 and sever the relationship? Showed me what he was most concerned about. In the end it was best because I got to find a psych that actually had a personality."

"I’ve been going to Dr. Bay for years for my bipolar depression. I’m a bit confused by these ratings because I’d give him 10 stars if I could! I’ve seen quite a few psychiatrists but Dr. Bay seems to truly care about my health and well being and doesn’t make me feel crazy. His office staff is wonderful and he always gets back to you in a timely matter regardless of what you need. He really makes me feel like I matter and I’m important and not just another number. His office is super clean and he’s very professional and personable. I’d highly recommend him to anyone in need of mental help and self care."

"I have been seeing Dr. Bay for a few years. I have always had a good experience and I love the staff. It is a small practice and does not have that "big medicine" feeling - which I think is a good thing! The costs are what you would expect for mental healthcare and I have never had a billing issue of any kind. A few times I messed up the scheduling of my appointments and they were awesome about getting me a new appointment ASAP. Dr. Bay is super awesome about helping find, not only the best medication, but the best medications that I can afford. I went through a period where my medication was incredibly expensive and he made sure to tell me about all sorts of programs and coupons I could use to make sure I could afford it. I never ever felt pressured to take any medication I wasn't comfortable with ( some mental health professionals I have seen were incredibly pushy about putting me on certain meds). He is great about explaining the ups and downs of things and never sugar coats anything. We have open conversations about the pros and cons of whatever I take and he is always open to talking about things I hear about. He is incredibly knowledgeable about new treatment options, their availability and affordability. 10/10!"
