"My Whirlpool washer went down early January 2023 and Mike's Appliance was scheduled to do the repair via my warranty service. The transmission component was bad and replaced. All was well until it went down late Aug 2023. My washer was no longer under warranty, so I called Mike's Appliance to come take a look since the transmission component was still under warranty and was possible the problem. The tech agreed that the transmission component needed to be replaced again as well as the hub assembly. I was charged for 2 hours of labor plus the new hub assembly part ($333.30 total of which about $35 was for the hub assembly). A week later, both parts were replaced and washer worked for 2 loads. The washer would fill with water but would not drain or spin. The drum was locked down tight. I called Mike's Appliance to evaluate the problem again and a week later Mike came to check the washer himself. He said that the transmission component was bad and needed replaced. A week later, the tech returned to replace that part but stated the washer was not fixable after he took the drum out for inspection. The tech had been on the phone with Mike about the drum issue and he said that Mike apologized for not fully evaluating the issue when he was there and would call me about it. I asked if there was going to a refund of any sorts since it was not fixable and has been down for about a month now. The tech told me that Mike would talk to me about it. Mike did call the next morning and left a message, I was not available to take his call at that time, stating he would call me later that evening. He did not return his call and I left a message on his business machine that I was available and was expecting him to call me. I did not hear from Mike and 5 days later I left another message, on his machine, for him to call me. It's been 5 days since then and no call from Mike. I have since replaced the washer with a Speed Queen. I would not recommend Mike's Appliance for any type of repair and wished that I had read some of the reviews before scheduling them."
"They had been assigned to me by my warranty, they will not answer the phone, and have been out to my home 5 times and it still is not fixed."
"They came out to fix my dryer and the first thing the tech was take a screw driver and pried the front off my LE dryer ruining it from the get go. Then he said it would be cheaper to buy a new one charged me $84.00 and left.We went and bought another dryer and it wouldn’t run either, we started checking and found the electric breaker was off when we turned it back on everything was fine we were going to take the new one back but the tech had destroyer our old dryer and never putt it back together! So we were left with the charge and a dryer that couldn’t be put back together. We called them and they refused to accept any blame and were very rude saying it was our problem now!!!"
"Came to check on my stove going on and off. Didn't have the part so he ordered it that was understandable. When he came back several days later to put it on he charged not only for the part but TWO service calls of $80 plus labor. The part was inexpensive. I've never had a service tech charge 2 service calls in the past. Less than a week later the stove wouldn't stay on again. Didn't wanna pay another $80 for him just to trouble shoot the problem and buy more parts. My daughter in law Googled the problem and watched YouTube videos on installation. She ordered the part online. Put it on and it's still working right today. Won't waste time with Mike's overpriced trouble shooting service again. No rating below 1 star or I'd rate him lower."
"Our refrigerator was leaking. As soon as Mike arrived and we told him the problem, he said immediately what he thought the problem was. He started working on it. There were two issues and he took care of both in a few minutes. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and neat. The price was right too. I highly recommend him. He was also very pleasant."
