"It was my our first time to the Ole Gin, and it will definitely not be our last. I can not say enough about this place. It's all great, no, great is not enough....it's fabulous. If you want a big, juicy steak cooked the way you like it without having to send it back cause it was cooked wrong, then this is the place. If you want down home southern atmosphere, then this is the place. If you want one of the best If not the best meal ever then this is the place! Outstanding service, our waitress was the best. If you haven't tried the Ole Gin Steakhouse, you definitely need to. And if you go take cash, for if you pay with cash they give you a 10% discount."
"We went for a work dinner and was seated as a group in the side room. We had kind of a buffet, steak, backed potatoes, and salad. They had medium rare and medium steaks in serving pans. Some of my co-workers had to ask for medium well and well cooked steaks, which they took out of the pan and cook longer in the back. The potatoes and salad were good. We were not a fan of the little packs of butter and packs of sour creme. It took away from the nice restaurant experience. The steaks we had were tender and had good taste. We later discovered they season the steaks with something that was not kind to our digestive systems. We had a choice of peach cobbler or blackberry cobbler for deserts. The peach cobbler was very good. They didn't overdo the sugar.The atmosphere was very original and pleasing. The Ole Gin motif is neat to see. It appeared very clean and the staff was very friendly."
"Amazing high quality steaks in a comfortable down home atmosphere. Excellent service from friendly people who seemed happy to be at work. Instead of driving to Atlanta, spending twice as much, & having to dress up come to Ole Gin. We will definitely be back."
"Our party of 4 was promptly seated and our drink order was taken right away.. we ordered two appetizers and they were brought out in a timely manner.. the fried green tomatoes are delicious.. we placed our order for the entrees and our salads were brought out and we were given time to finish them before we received our main course.. I had the Filet Mignon and baked potato.. both were cooked to perfection and delicious.. everyone in our party was very satisfied with the food and service.. excellent restaurant.."
